A couple of days ago I received an email from what looked like a member of staff at KDP telling me that "my content may not fully comply with Kindle Direct Publishing guidelines."
My first reaction, which was a very natural one, was to think the worst.
But, on closer inspection and deduction, I realised it was a scam.
Cast your eyes over the evidence below.
When I stopped panicking and started looking at the above email alarm bells started ringing.
The first one being that the above email supposedly from KDP came from a private gmail account.
The second one being that the above email had no KDP logo.
I just want to say to any writer/author/self-publisher out their trying to make a living out of there writing, just be careful, be vigilant and check all of your emails, because there are a lot of sharks out there.
