A little more about Helen...

I'm a blogger and author based in South Shields, England.

I used my passion for writing to create 1976write.com in 2015 which helps writers to blog, self-publish, learn about SEO, email marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, proofreading and editing, publishing, copywriting and ghostwriting.  A list I keep expanding every time I write a book.

I started publishing on Amazon in 2015, and try and publish at three to four books a year.

Where It All Started

I started writing online in 2010 creating blogs with Google and Wordpress and writing on Ezine, Hubpages and Squidoo.  It was then I started to become really serious about sharing my journey with others, and decided to create 1976write for this very reason.

Background

I originally started my working life as secretary, which it turns out, has been a real blessing.  Being able to type and publish books much quicker, thanks to some typing skills I acquired.

I understand the ups and downs of  life on line and how hard it can be even get started.  And how hard it is to understand the process of self-publishing.

Free Time

I spend my free time walking along the coast, watching movies, and reading.   I'm also a Christian and spend a lot of time reading God's word, the Bible (Psalms 119:66).  I thank my creator all of the time for all of the blessings I've been afforded with my writing.

Where to Start on My Blog

I recommend you start reading my welcome page, this will guide you through my website and what's on offer to read.

Or if you have any questions contact me here.

See the best writing tools to add to your armoury  here.

Finally be sure to grab one of quotes here, check out my writing terms page which is a glossary of writing and publishing glossary, or visit my Amazon author page to see which book is FREE this week.

Which of my books on writing should I read first?
