A little more about Helen...

I'm a blogger and author based in South Shields, England.

I used my passion for writing to create 1976write.com in 2015 which helps writers to blog, self-publish, learn about SEO, email marketing, social media, affiliate marketing, editing, self-publishing, copywriting and ghostwriting.  A list I keep expanding every time I write a book.

Along with an an ever expanding library of books I'm self-publishing on Amazon.

Where It All Started

I started writing online in 2010 creating blogs with Google and Wordpress and writing on Ezine, Hubpages and Squidoo.  It was then I started to become really serious about sharing my journey with others, and decided to create 1976write for this very reason.

Background

I originally started my working life as secretary, which it turns out, has been a real blessing.  Being able to type and publish books much quicker, thanks to some typing skills I acquired.

I understand the ups and downs of life on line and how hard it can be to start a career in writing, and how difficult the process of self-publishing is.

Free Time

I spend my free time walking along the coast, watching movies, and reading.   I'm also a Christian and spend a lot of time reading God's word, the Bible (Psalms 119:66).  I thank my creator all of the time for all of the blessings I've been afforded with my writing.
