How to Reignite Your Writing

Sometimes writing is like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges.

Ernest Hemingway

That's what writing can feel like when you have no more ideas left in the tank, whether it be nonfiction or fiction ideas.

As I mentioned in my previous blog posts, when the tap has been turned off that's when you know you need to take a break, even if it's just for a day or two.

But don't let your short break turn into long term procrastination.

If you manage your time really well you can factor in short breaks every now and again, which is why time management is so important.

During your writing break you can relax your mind for a spell and then start up your brain with fresh ideas.

Discipline and time management are two very important keys to writing.
